This is going to be even better than in Spring 2017!
I’m so lucky to be working with an amazing Agnes Scott student, Cindy Gallardo, on a new research project this summer. We’ve purchased a new computer, along with Gaussian and Gaussview software, and we’re doing computations to predict IR and Raman spectra for biologically relevant molecules! We’re taking our preliminary thoughts to the annual cMERCURY (Molecular Education and Research Consortium in Undergraduate computational chemistRY) conference this week at Furman University because we have soooo many questions for all the computational chemists that will be attending….
I’m very excited to begin collaborating with Matt Ruby on our 2017 Global 102 course and the associated trip to Manchester UK.
